New Payment System Enables Smaller Merchants to Sell Online Using Cash
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2000--Strategic Profits Inc.
(SPI)announced today that , has they have signed a strategic partnership
with Twin Lion Systems, Inc.
Through the partnership, SPI merchant packages will now bundle
Twin Lion Systems Inc's HyperWallet eTailer technology. Smaller
merchants until now, have been limited from selling online due to the
high charges levied by credit card companies, and the risks associated
with online fraud. Smaller merchants can now sell online using cash
instead of credit cards.
SPI presents a unique full service offering for small to medium
sized merchants and non-profits. SPI provides online secure payment,
online educational training, web hosting, web design, database
development, shopping cart/secure CGI order form solutions, Internet
marketing strategies, digital certificates and virtually everything
else that is required to help merchants and non-profits go online and
achieve their goals.
Catherine Clarke, President and CEO of Strategic
Profits, Inc. states, "HyperWallet is one of the most exciting payment
systems we have seen in years. SPI will be able to offer charities,
merchants and customers a secure, easy to use, cash online method of
purchasing and receiving payment through our partnership with Twin
Lion Systems Inc. HyperWallet levels the playing field as merchants
will have no risk of charge-backs with cash payments, nor will they
have to worry about the sometimes arduous task of applying for an
Internet merchant account through a bank. They can use their existing
bank account at the bank of their choice. The customer has the ease,
security and privacy that has prevented many from making purchases
online with credit cards. HyperWallet will expand the online retail
industry".
"HyperWallet is actively pursuing partners in the merchant
enabling space, like Strategic Profits, Inc. By providing them with
the technical and merchant support platform to cash-enable their
merchants, they are able to offer a full range of payment solutions to
their clients and we are able to rapidly spread the number of
merchants on board without it putting a strain on our resources." said
Jennifer Cameron, Founder & CEO of Twin Lion Systems Inc. "We will
continue to pursue this strategy to quickly build critical mass in
merchant numbers."
